A packaged heat pump contains the same components as a standard split HVAC system but they have been engineered to all fit into one cabinet. It allows you to control your system efficiency levels and air handling options. Typically this system sits on the ground or roof outside the home.  The package heat pump offers heating and cooling capabilities using the same technology as a standard heat pump. These package systems save on energy cost and take up less space because the entire system is in one “package”.
